Outdoor hotspring bathing has been and is very popular in Japan. 6 cottages have their own outdoor hot pring bath inside(on a terrace). Whatever the season,  you can enjoy the experience, Expecially outdoor bathing in the snow is really fantastic.

 It is possible to relax freely like your own home because any cottage is equipted with full facilities. Moreover, because we charge per cottage, the unit price per person becomes more reasonable if there are more persons per cottage.
  It is equipted fully with a kitchen where you can make your own meals. There are also many other facilities.

 Why don't you do an outdoor Barbecue party in Winkel cottage with your family or friends? Zingisukan (a lamb grill) barbecue is a popular delicacy in Hokkaido. (And cold Sapporo beer with Zingisukan makes a good combination!!)

 3. <<Summer>> Golf  or Parkgolf

 Fine weather and beautiful scenery makes Hokkaido one of the best summer tourist spots.
 Because of Hokkaido's beautiful scenery, there are many golf courses. These courses are also rather inexpensive.
 In Hokkaido there is mini golf, which we call  'Park golf'. It can be enjoyed by anyone (regardless of age.) If you are a beginner just enjoy it as a picnic in the field.

 4. <<Winter>> Ski tour    <Information of Ski area around>

 In Hokkaido we have a great deal of snow - almost half a year is covered in snow(from end of the Nov. to beginning of May. According to snow survey, Sapporo has 478cm snow in average in a year, and Kuchang  has a 1259cm in a year.Only in

Hokkaido,there are 100's ski areas. so, it already became public sports.

     2. Because of many ski area, you can enjoy ski area round trip

 5. Asarigawa Spa - Classe Hotel,  Hotel Musashitei, etc.

 There are a lot of spas and spa hotels in Asarigawa spa area which is close to both Otaru and Sapporo. We recommend some of them below.

 a. Classe Hotel Spa(3 minutes by foot from Winkel, For Winkel customer, we provide discount ticket 600yen to 550yen). The outdoor bath is surrounded by nature and is guaranteed to relax you.

 6. Thema tour - A filming trip of Japanese famous movie 'Love letter' and recent movie'Heaven's Bookstore'.

 a.Otaru Unga kougeikan(no holiday/no entrance fee/8 minutes from Otaru statation) - It's the glass works which Akiba's friend was working.

 b.Otaru cityhall - The hospital that Itsuki went with her mother.

 c.Ironai cross - The cross Itsuki on the bicycle passed by Hiroko near by postbox.

 d.Temiya park - The road scene where Itsuki(male) pull a paper bag over Itsuki(female)'s head while on a bicycle. An athletics stadium on the top of this park is also used as a location.

 e.The former Otaru branch of the Nihon Yusen Co.(9:30~17:00, Everyday Mon, and the day after public holiday. Adults : 100yen, Otaru Sansaku bus from Otaru JR station.) -The library where Itsuki was working.

 f.Mt. Tengu(No. 9 bus for Mt. Tengu ropeway from Otaru JR station ) - The location for the first scene of movie 'Love letter'.

 g.The Glass Studio in Otaru - The glass works of Akiba.

h.Asahi view point - The place has a good night view of Kobe in the movie.

 i.Library of Otaru commercial college - The inner part scene of the library Itsuki was working in.

 j.Former Suhara villa(10:00~16:00. opened everyday from the end of April to the middle of October /no entrance fee / 20 minutes from JR Otaru station by foot) -  It is used as a house of Hujii in Kobe in the movie(a scene where Hiroko was talking with her dead boy friend's mother.)

 k.The cluster of brick-built warehouses in the Canal area. - Lately, it is used as a location in the movie 'Heaven's bookstore'
